The 11th Annual Akron Unity Cup, hosted by the Akron Inner City Soccer Club on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the beautiful Copley Road Soccer Complex, was a tremendous success!

This year’s tournament brought together an incredible 37 teams and 618 players, competing in a total of 59 exciting games, including a thrilling penalty shootout that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

We are especially proud of our own Akron Inner City Soccer Club teams. Out of the five teams we entered into the competition, four advanced all the way to the championship games and finished as finalists. What an outstanding achievement for our players, coaches, and families!

We give thanks to God for the blessings that made this event possible. Special appreciation goes to Akron City Parks and Recreation for providing access to the Copley Road Soccer Complex, and to our generous sponsors whose support allows us to keep building opportunities for the youth of our community.

The Unity Cup is more than just a soccer tournament — it’s a celebration of what can be accomplished when a community comes together for the common good. With your support, the future looks brighter than ever for the children of Akron and the Akron Inner City Soccer Club.
